Lightnings: Can anyone help out...?
We are working on the last few colour profiles for the new On-Target Profile Book No 13, covering the English Electric/BAC Lightning in Worldwide Service.
There are two aircraft that were zapped by 74 'Tiger' Squadron which we need more information to complete the project. Does anybody know anything about these two aircraft, especially aircraft codes?

Not for the faint hearted...!
Brace yourselves! Anyone with the nerve and/or patience to apply a hefty load of stencils to an Airfix Nimrod may be interested to know that our four stencil sets have now arrived covering everything from the early MR.1s all the way up to the latest R.1s. The sets have been produced in close co-operation with Airfix and designed by Jonathan Mock. Further details can be found within the Premier Range page but get in there fast as these are expected to sell out rather quick!

Tiger Meet on Ice!

RAF Hercs
After much demand we are happy to announce the commission of a new decal sheet covering early RAF C-130Ks. The sheet will become MAS-9037 in the Premier Plus range and is planned for release during late-summer 2008.

Hurricane Warning!
We are very pleased to announce that the next book in the Profile Series has now gone to print and is expected to be on general sale as of June 2008. The official release of On Target Profile 12: Hawker Hurricane is planned for the IPMS Salisbury model show on 31st May should stock arrive in time. We look forward to seeing you there.

MAS-9036 Correction
Unfortunately, during printing, one page was missed out from the instruction sheets for the MAS-9036 King Air and Dominie decals. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and you can now download the missing page as a PDF from here.

Canberra is here!

Dispatch Delays
Unfortunately, due to problems outside of our control which escalated towards the tail end of last week (24th-28th March) we have experienced some dispatch delays which may have affected some of our customers. Although most orders placed towards the beginning of the week were dispatched on time it is possible the those placed later will be delayed slightly. We are doing everything that we can to remedy the situation but unluckily this has occurred at a time where other individuals are on holiday and as such we are very short staffed! We are attempting to respond to all enquires but if you still have an unanswered enquiry on 4th April then please do feel free to resubmit it at that time. It is hoped that things will start to return to normal next week but we ask you to bear with us as we do all we can to keep up. Thank you.

ISTAR
It is expected that the RAF ISTAR sheet will be available very shortly. MA-162 will include 1/72nd scale decals for the Nimrod R.1, Sentinel R.1 and Sentry AEW.1 and will not only incorporate the standard scheme but also the 90th Anniversary livery worn by Sentry ZH103.

Arctic Tigers

War On Terror

Southern Expo
The Aviation Workshop will be attending the Southern Expo model show between 15th and 16th March 2008. The show is being held at the Hornchurch Sports Centre, Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch, Essex, RM11 1ET and will be running from 10am to 5pm both days. War on Terror
The latest Model Alliance decal sheet, MA-161, 'War on Terror' has now arrived and will be available to buy shortly. The sheet covers many of the coalition aircraft types currently serving in Afghanistan including the Army Air Corps WAH-64D Apache, Dassault Super Etendard, BAe Systems Harrier GR.7 (Lucy & Michelle) and many more. Nimrod Sells Out!
Released to coincide with the Airfix 1/72 scale Nimrod, the three Model Alliance Nimrod decal sheets have now sold out! Although expected to be popular the rush of sales were still a surprise but not to worry...if you haven't yet purchased a sheet and still wish to, we have ordered a second small batch to meet the recent demand.

Wings of Silver, Take 2
Although a Limited Edition, we have received many requests to start a second print run of On Target Special 3: Wings of Silver. Due to the popular demand it has been decided to make a very small number of new copies available to anyone who did not manage to acquire the book before it sold out. The book's sequel focuses on the Royal Naval Air Service over a similar period and is currently in production, named Wings and Waves.

We've been working extremely hard to redevelop our website so as to provide you, our customer, with a far better service and more information about all our current and future work. As if taking a leaf out of the book of Eurofighter Typhoon we will be running this improvement in a number of distinct tranches!
