The SEPECAT Jaguar was born out of an Anglo-French agreement in the late 1960s to build an advanced strike and trainer aircraft. The first prototype, a French two-seater, flew in 1968. The Jaguar evolved to become an extremely versatile strike aircraft which has attracted sales from many foreign air forces.
Published in 2006 this book narrowly missed the retirement of the last operational RAF Jaguar from No. 6 Sqn in April 2007. As many people will realise, this was a premature retirement of a still capable asset within the RAF and this book now serves as a reminder of what was, yet is no more.
The publication includes all notable schemes of the RAF, Armee de l'Air and many other worldwide operators, pre-2006.
